27: Kay Fabella: Diversity and Inclusion in the Online Space
How can we, as individuals, do a better job in diversity and inclusion in the online space?
My friend Kay Fabella is a Filipina-American entrepreneur in Spain on a mission to amplify the voices of underrepresented leaders to build a more inclusive world.
I invited her on the podcast to have the conversation about what can we do, no matter how small or insignificant we think our platforms are, to do a better job with diversity and inclusion in the online space.
The question in our heads is, what can we do to spark inclusive conversations, and help more women rise? The online world has made it possible for women to achieve income and impact. Kay and I talk about what we can do as entrepreneurs to make sure women from ALL backgrounds have access to the same opportunities, and what we can do as individuals to help make that happen in the online space.
In this episode, you’ll hear:
- How can individuals do a better job in diversity and inclusion in the online space
- how everyone has a diversity story
- options of what you can do as an individual
- The difference between diversity and inclusion

“I think one of the reasons why this conversation is so hard to approach is because even amongst ourselves, we are trying to filter who is considered diversed or who has suffered the most.”
– Kay Fabella
